Highlights: Paris Fashion Week

The latest Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025 shows offered a mix of glamour, experimentation and high craftsmanship, with iconic designers such as Giambattista Valli, Nina Ricci, Victoria Beckham, Elie Saab and Alexander McQueen taking centre stage.

Giambattista Valli enchanted the audience with his unmistakable romantic aesthetic, dominated by voluminous dresses, delicate transparencies and pastel shades. His style remains faithful to a sophisticated femininity, perfect for the summer season.

Nina Ricci, under the direction of Harris Reed, continued to explore the boundaries between masculine and feminine, with a focus on sculptural lines and fluid silhouettes. Lightweight materials and neutral tones underlined the collection’s modern elegance.

Victoria Beckham presented a minimalist yet sophisticated collection, focused on structured fabrics and impeccable tailoring. The looks were versatile, designed for a contemporary woman on the go, with a color palette that ranged from classic black to neutrals and pastels.

Elie Saab dazzled once again with dresses adorned with intricate workmanship, lace and gold embroidery. His creations evoked the allure of opulent luxury, with maxi lengths and sparkling details dominating the runway.

Alexander McQueen, always bold and innovative, closed the week with a collection that mixed punk elements with classic tailoring, playing with contrasting colors and materials such as leather and tulle. The pieces featured bold cuts and structural details, highlighting a unique and provocative artistic vision.

The Paris Fashion Week SS25 shows reaffirmed the importance of tailored design, experimentation with fabrics and shapes, and attention to detail, marking the beginning of new trends for the upcoming season.
