Selected as a finalist for the LVMH award in 2016, the streetwear brand Alyx was born in 2015 from the creative pen of Matthew Williams, a designer originally from Chicago. The brand takes its name from his daughter, because, as he himself claims, the collections are a personal and emotional matter. After a debut in the world of women's fashion, Matthew Williams adds menswear. The Alyx collections today fully embrace the philosophy of sustainability: innovative fabrics and processes represent the fulcrum of its production, which has now moved entirely to Ferrara, Italy.
