Paco Rabanne
It was in 1963 that the name of Paco Rabanne began to be on everyone's lips, when the designer created original rhodium earrings in an edition of 25,000 pieces. Extremely light and cheap, they went like hot cakes and the Spanish designer became famous. Paco Rabanne then set himself the goal of working with materials that no one would ever dare to wear for a woman: paper, metal plates, plastic chains, aluminum, fluorescent leather. The parade in Paris was a great surprise: all the models were in color, and they paraded barefoot because Rabanne still didn't produce his own line of shoes. Today, under the guidance of Manish Arora, the brand is inspired by modern art, architecture and the world of nature: for a sensual Femme Lumiere that comes from the future.
