Romanticism takes on a new perspective. For Fall/Winter 2026, Cecilie Bahnsen reimagines the codes of her signature aesthetic through an unexpected dialogue between poetry, movement and functionality. A vision of femininity that leaves rigidity behind, embracing a freer, more dynamic and contemporary attitude.
Titled Practice, the collection draws inspiration from the world of dance, the repetition of gestures and the endless pursuit of perfection. The body becomes the focal point of the narrative, while garments follow its movements through sculptural volumes, three-dimensional silhouettes and unexpected proportions.
The Danish designer’s unmistakable universe unfolds through organza, sheer fabrics, floral embroidery and voluminous skirts. Alongside these ethereal creations, cosy knitwear, fleece and technical outerwear introduce a new dimension, bringing together couture delicacy and a sporty sensibility.
It is within these contrasts that the collection’s new identity takes shape: romanticism meets pragmatism, lightness meets structure, grace meets strength. A wardrobe designed for the contemporary woman, finding its most authentic expression in the freedom of movement.
With Fall/Winter 2026, Cecilie Bahnsen proves that delicacy can be a form of strength, and that romanticism, today, knows no rules.
The new romantics. A new way of being feminine.
