Coperni's final show for the Autumn/Winter 2024-2025 collection was held on March 4, 2024, during Paris Fashion Week, marking another innovative milestone for the brand. Designers Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant presented a futuristic lineup that reflects their continued exploration of integrating technology with fashion. They choose to parade in a film studio outside Paris to recount close encounters of the third kind with its aliens. A giant tower launches coded messages like in the famous Steven Spielberg film to communicate with space.
A platoon of sidereal creatures with lacquered hair and glassy gaze descends to earth to conquer the world among jackets, bodysuits, worn with bare legs, transparent white overalls like spaceship uniforms, foil dresses and skirts with suspended bottoms. Bags contained in plastic bags look like finds from another planet like the bag made up of 99% air. Rings of Saturn decorate the evening gowns of a finale where the spectator remains paralyzed by a dazzling light and conquered by the alien invasion.
With this latest presentation, Coperni continues to consolidate its reputation as a cutting-edge brand, capable of generating interest and discussion during Paris Fashion Week with proposals that challenge conventions and imagine the future of dressing.
