Raf Simons
Raf Simons, the designer who revolutionized menswear. In 1995 he founded the homonymous men’s clothing brand, pouring all his interest: first of all music, from punk and new wave records collected since adolescence to German electronics; then the subcultural imagination of the time, shaped by the looks of the youth movements scattered throughout Europe; finally, the almost exasperated attention to cuts and volumes, studied to the millimeter to streamline the figure, but adhering to the dictates of the best sartorial tradition. All filtered through a strong artistic sensitivity, which touches architecture, cinema, literature and so on.
