As the world rushes to scrutinize new trends, Paris prepares to unveil a fascinating chapter of style in its centuries-old history. From big names in fashion to emerging talents, each presentation promises to be an ode to beauty and innovation, blending tradition and modernity in an irresistible union.

Givenchy

In the prestigious halls of the Avenue George V headquarters in Paris, where Hubert de Givenchy brought his iconic collections to life, the maison presented the F/W24 Men's collection, the first designed by the creative staff of the Maison after the farewell of the creative direction of Matthew M. Williams.

The collection explores the public and private duality of the modern gentleman's wardrobe.

The inspiration is the white blouse worn by Hubert de Givenchy in his atelier. The garment is reinterpreted in an elegant workwear version, with or without sleeves. The inspiration develops further with dresses and coats characterized by openings under the sleeves. Eccentric details come to life in the graphics and decorations of the collection. One of the distinctive features is a sumptuous chandelier motif taken from the maison's archives, reworked in metallic embroidery with crystals and pearls, jacquard and prints. This motif contrasts elegant teddy bear coats, bomber jackets and outerwear made of upholstery chenille, enriched by raw shearling, which is also found as a decoration on the trousers. The shoes, true works of art for the modern gentleman, include slippers that influence moccasins and derbies, made with refined materials and embellished with the comfort of velvet. Finally, in homage to Hubert de Givenchy's love for nature, the Voyou bag is reinvented in textured buffalo leather, velvety cowhide or shearling, transforming into smaller accessories made of brushed leather with an equestrian spirit.

Balmain Paris

Olivier Rousteing wanted to present an extremely joyful collection, in a very dark world. Inspired by the so-called “sapeur” fashion movement, born in Brazzaville in the 1960s, whose instantly recognizable silhouettes continue to liven up the streets of Kinshasa, Paris and Harlem today.
An exuberant mix of French tailoring and colorful African prints, whose very serious dress code is told through "The 10 commandments of the Society of Ambiancers and Elegant People".
A gold mine for the French designer who reinterprets with this collection sixty years of a legendary style, which has marked decades of men's fashion around the world . The Maison's laboratories worked on a canvas of influences and cultures with Haute Couture precision, on a sophisticated cast that paraded to the rhythm of some of the most beautiful African-American sounds. A breath of fresh air for the Balmain man.
