Milano si Veste di Nuovo: Fashion Week Autunno/Inverno 2024/2025

Milan dresses up again: Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2024/2025

Milan, the undisputed capital of fashion, has opened its doors to the most awaited week by enthusiasts and professionals: the Fashion Week dedicated to the Autumn/Winter 2024/2025 collections. A first day that saw illustrious names such as Alberta Ferretti, Etro, Roberto Cavalli and N21 parade, each with their own distinctive vision that anticipated the trends of the next cold season.

Alberta Ferretti: Whispered Elegance
Alberta Ferretti inaugurated the day with a collection that speaks softly but deeply enchants, based on the male-female contrast. The designer presented a line that plays on the alternation of fluid silhouettes and more structured cuts, chiffon and flannel, lace and chevron. The masculine opacity of daytime fabrics finds counterpoint in a bold sparkle of embroidery made with sequins, baguettes and rhinestones to show off in the evening. The color palette moves between warm brown tones and cold green tones, with accents of autumnal colors that transform the garments into real mobile frescoes.

Etro: Tradition is renewed
Followed by Etro, a brand that continues to reinvent its stylistic heritage without ever betraying it. The paisley motifs, a hallmark of the house, blend with new geometries, and wool is intertwined with technological yarns for comfort that does not forget refinement. Prints, as always, are the protagonists, but with a new sense of modernity and an eye towards outdoor clothing, which is increasingly in demand and fashionable.

Roberto Cavalli: Audacity and Sensuality
Audacity is the key word for Roberto Cavalli's new collection, which brought a hymn to sensuality to the catwalk. The protagonist is marble, which represents luxury, tradition and craftsmanship and which inspires the entire collection. Wrapped in garments that reflect her designs and grains with great creativity, the Cavalli woman appears confident: she is strong, she is tied to traditions, but she is extremely modern. Different marble textures appear on the garments, in different colours, from the most "classic" to the most extravagant and unexpected.

N21: Revolutionary Simplicity
Closing the first day was N21 with a collection that enhances revolutionary simplicity. Designer Alessandro Dell'Acqua proposed deconstructed garments that play on refined minimalism, interrupted by flashes of lively details. The duality between masculine and feminine is felt, with a series of pieces that can be worn with ease by anyone who wishes to express themselves through fashion.

The first day of Milan Fashion Week ends, but the curtain does not fall on the enthusiasm and creativity that continue to pulsate in the veins of this iconic city. The eyes of the world are focused on the Milanese catwalks, where the future of fashion takes shape, and Michele Franzese Moda is here to take you into the heart of the action, telling and interpreting the new trends that will dominate the streets and minds in the Autumn/Winter season 2024/2025.

Stay with us to discover and experience this week's upcoming events together in the name of style and innovation.
