Celebrazione dell'Eccellenza: il 15 Aprile Giornata Nazionale del Made in Italy

Celebration of Excellence: April 15th National Day of Made in Italy

April 15th transforms into a celebration of Italian excellence with the National Day of Made in Italy (GNMI), a tribute to the value and tradition of our country in the global fashion panorama. Italian Fashion Federation-Confcommercio takes the initiative with a strong message: “Buy original. Made in Italy? Yes please! Do you buy fake? No because...".

This year the celebration takes on an even more significant meaning. Made in Italy is not simply a label, but the emblem of a style that transcends ephemeral trends to crystallize in a timeless legacy. "Fashion passes, style remains" is the mantra that echoes in the production districts of our country, where design merges with craftsmanship to create masterpieces recognized throughout the world.

The Italian Fashion Federation-Confcommercio launches the "Buy original" handbook, a practical guide enriched with ten tips for consumers, aimed at combating the fake market and promoting conscious consumption. The document highlights not only the health risks linked to the use of counterfeit products, often made with harmful substances, but also the legal sanctions which can reach up to 7 thousand euros for those who purchase imitations.

The handbook also provides cultural and legal tools to recognize and enhance the true Made in Italy, underlining the "Country effect" which identifies high quality products intrinsically linked to their country of origin according to the European Customs Code.

Made in Italy stands out as the third most recognized brand in the world, surpassed only by giants such as Coca Cola and Visa. This recognition, according to a survey by Kpmg advisory, is not only a sign of prestige but also a competitive advantage in international commercial strategies. Italy establishes itself as a leader in sectors such as automation, fashion, furniture, design and food: the four A's that represent the beating heart of the national industry.

With the GNMI we are therefore invited to rediscover and support the authenticity, innovation and sustainability that Made in Italy embodies, preserving a heritage that is a source of inspiration for the whole world. Celebrating Made in Italy means celebrating the Italian identity, an identity made of creativity, passion and an unparalleled pursuit of perfection.
