The Attico: L'Espressione della Moda Femminile

The Attico: The Expression of Women's Fashion

The Attico is the fruit of the creative mind of Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini. Founded in 2016, the maison stands out for its bold and innovative vision of fashion, conceived as a tool of expression for women. Rooted in the complementary personalities of its creative directors, The Attico embodies an idea of multiplicity as a feminine strength.

Contrasts and Femininity

The Attico's vision of femininity is defined by contrasts: hard and soft, romance and seduction, refinement and roughness. This duality is reflected in the choice of Naples as a source of inspiration for the collection. A unique, lively and fragile city, dominated by the imposing presence of the volcano Vesuvius, Naples perfectly embodies the spirit of The Attico.

The Essence of Woman by The Attico

This season's woman evolves into a sort of Neapolitan mermaid: a seductive and urban creature, who fascinates everyone she meets. Strong in the apparent harshness of tailored garments with wide shoulders and narrow waist, but at the same time romantic, melancholic and fragile, it hides behind veils that protect from prying eyes. The collection explores multiplicity, looking at the timeless modernity of antiquity, a characteristic evident in Naples.

The collection features fluid dresses that envelop the body like water, recalling classical sculpture and Giuseppe San Martino's Veiled Christ, where marble becomes muslin. The tailoring, on the other hand, expresses an aerodynamic toughness with trench coats and bomber jackets in washed canvas, completed with Mongolian fur collars for a rugged look. Movement and texture are essential: dancing fringes on scarves and Mongolian lamb fur in delicate shades.

The color palette is an amalgam of desaturated neutral tones with accents of flame red, bright pink, aquamarine and bright blue. Accessories further play with the idea of veiling: thigh-high boots, sandals with geometric heels, designer bags and bold jewelry.
