PITTI UOMO 105

PITTI Uomo 105

Florence returns to being the capital of men's fashion and lifestyle.
832 brands, of which 46% foreign

The 105th edition of Pitti Uomo will start today, Tuesday 9 January 2024. 832 brands were present, of which 46% were foreign for the winter edition which will take place at the Fortezza da Basso until 12 January. This year he chooses the guiding theme of time to make the entire fashion system reflect. At the entrance to the fair, the PittiTime-themed installations invite you to work on the themes of the moment: is there really a need to launch so many capsule collections to stimulate the market? And again: does the seasonality of the collections make sense in light of recent climate changes? Then, linked to the concept of time there are the so-called 'timeless' garments, but also research in the archives of the past which help to build the heritage of a brand. In the current international context, the event confirms itself as the point of reference for brands and designers, buyers and specialized press at the opening of the season. Not only an excellent showcase for the Autumn-Winter 2024-2025 collections, but also a place that acts as a mirror to the trends, creativity and new demands that are crossing society.

Pitti Uomo is to all intents and purposes an essential opportunity for discussion which makes Florence a leader in the sector of events dedicated to fashion. From our special observatory we grasp the desire of brands to be present, to be seen and meet customers. On this front, we are confident in a large participation of foreign buyers. In a unique and spectacular context, which brings together all the protagonists of the international fashion scene, Pitti Uomo offers the possibility of a unique overview of the new collections and of obtaining useful feedback on the performance of the markets and the main creative scenes. The Pitti team's scouting work was extensive and, as always, we are convinced that the Florentine setting will bring further value to the special projects on the calendar.
